In September, Illusions of Fate comes out. It’s maybe my best book ever. It’s definitely precious to me. And I’m afraid it’s going to fall under the radar, like so many good books do in such a crowded market.
If you would be so kind, could you tell me (either privately or publicly) what you’ve done to personally market books that you feel has been worthwhile? Contests? Multi-city tours? Blog tours? Buying ad space online? I’m pretty open to anything, I just want to know what other people have done that feels like it is worth their time/money, because we all know there’s never enough of either!
Illusions of Fate (September 9th) is smart and charming and crazy crazy crazy romantic. There’s even a character who I’d swear stepped straight out of a Jane Austen novel. I blurbed it last winter:
“Illusions of Fate is an absolute delight—a magical, sparkling, dangerous world with witty repartee and a romance that will light your heart on fire. Kiersten White’s best yet.” —Stephanie Perkins
It’s killing me that there’s been so much silence around this book. Authors, if you have any advice to share with her, please help?
And readers! I hope you’ll add it to your Goodreads to-read shelf.
